Boom Supersonic and Latecoere sign strategic agreement for Overture and Symphony

(AOF) – Boom Supersonic, a company developing the fastest airliner in the world, has signed an agreement with tier 1 aeronautical equipment manufacturer Latecoere, which joins its network of global suppliers. As part of this collaboration, teams from the Latecoere design office in Toulouse (France) will work together with Boom engineers to define the complete architecture of the electrical wiring interconnection system (EWIS), a central system for Overture and Symphony.

The EWIS will have more than 103 kilometers of cabling and more than 45,000 electrical connections, ensuring optimal security and system reliability for Overture and Symphony.

Latecoere benefits from extensive expertise in complex aircraft development processes and methods, and Boom will thus be able to rely on its industry-leading architecture development software suite.
