Bouygues: energy sobriety plan in Telecoms

(CercleFinance.com) – Bouygues Telecom announces that its energy sobriety plan will be reinforced this winter, the company aiming for a 10% reduction in its electricity consumption.

The telephone operator has undertaken, via the Ecowatt Charter, to implement various actions to moderate its energy consumption during peak consumption, in particular by switching off neon signs and advertising screens outside opening hours, optimization of heating in the premises, employee awareness of eco-gestures, etc.

“As a benchmark operator, we have a responsibility to contribute to the national energy sobriety initiative initiated by the government,” says Benoît Torloting, CEO of Bouygues Telecom.
