France is becoming a crypto hub

France is increasingly establishing itself as an important location in the crypto industry. Crypto exchange Crypto.com and USDC publisher Circle recently announced the opening of their European headquarters in Paris. Crypto giant Binance also operates out of the metropolis. In the future, the country is likely to become more relevant for many providers after the MiCA regulation comes into force. The regulation sets uniform regulatory standards for the crypto sector, compliance with which is monitored by the Paris-based supervisory authorities EBA and ESMA, among others.
