BTS: "Dynamite" secures K-Pop stars the next YouTube record

BTS reports back to the top. The music video for the new single "Dynamite" brings the K-Pop band the next YouTube record.

The successful K-Pop band BTS has one YouTube record richer. The music video for their new song "Dynamite" was clicked 101.1 million times on the online video platform in the first 24 hours. YouTube confirmed the new record set by the seven South Koreans to the US business magazine "Forbes".

BTS was able to set a 24-hour record last year. The song "Boy With Luv" with Halsey (25) was clicked around 74.6 million times. In July 2020, however, the musicians had to surrender to Blackpink's female competition. With "How You Like That" the girl group achieved a proud 86.3 million clicks within the first 24 hours. Since August 22nd, the official record holder has been called BTS again.
