Call of Duty: Vanguard/Warzone: One of the joysticks of the controllers unusable due to a problem

While the developers of Call of Duty: Vanguard and Call of Duty: Warzone recently announced the postponement of the launch of Season 2, the two titles find themselves in the heart of the news again as a new problem impacting players has suddenly appeared.

According to several sources, including the user u/spiderpunk92 on Reddit, a small majority of players (for the moment) would be victims of a rather constraining and frustrating technical problem: their controller disconnects spontaneously and their right joystick no longer responds to commands, following this. However, on Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Vanguard, this joystick allows you to move the camera and thus target an enemy, before shooting him. As a result, this bug would leave players completely helpless during the game. According to testimonials shared on Reddit, this concern does not spare any controller manufacturer.

If Activision has not yet communicated on this subject, players would have found an explanation, or even a solution: indeed, if the controller disconnects, the game automatically changes the command parameters by passing on those keyboard / mouse. Suddenly, it would suffice to change this again, and this manually from the game options or by activating the right key of its directional pad. These two manipulations would have been proven for a handful of affected players.

However, this is only an alternative solution and it’s a safe bet that Activision teams are currently working on the subject to correct this problem as soon as possible.
