Although players are eagerly awaiting it, season 2 of the free-to-play battle royale Call of Duty: Warzone and of Call of Duty: Vanguard will not be deployed on the scheduled date, February 2. Indeed, earlier in the day on Wednesday January 19, the developers at Activision announced 12 day postponement for this brand new season. It will be available from February 14, on all the platforms concerned, namely PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC.
They take advantage of this official communication to give the reasons for this postponement. They then explain thatthey intend to take advantage of this additional time to correct the various bugs and technical problems, while improving the general stability of the titles stamped Call of Duty. They also intend to work on balancing the weapons and the various equipment available. All this with the aim, of course, to ensure a good level of finish to improve the experience of Vanguard, Warzone Pacific, Black Ops Cold War and Modern Warfare players”.
We’ve deployed a number of updates, but more needs to be done. Thank you for being patient while we delay the release of Season Two in #Vanguard and #Warzone to prioritize ongoing work to balance and optimize your current gameplay experience.

Obviously, this new season will require players to download and install a new update. It will therefore be essential to carry out these two manipulations in order to be able to join the official servers again and enjoy the said game. The details of this major update will be known when it arrives on February 14.
