Camille Lothe (27) is beside himself: The fact that the Freiheitstrychler organized a funeral march in front of the old people’s home “dr Heimä” in Giswil OW on Wednesday evening was “simply disrespectful”. “Shame on yourselves!” Writes the president of the Young SVP Zurich on Twitter.
It is already bad that the home has not adhered to the regulations, explains Lothar to Blick. “But I clearly condemn the fact that the Trychlers are still using these tragic deaths for their political message.”
“So disrespectful to relatives”
After it became known that nine people had died in the “dr Heimä” in the past three weeks, the Freedom Tryps gathered for a funeral march in front of the home on Wednesday evening. Their message, which they underlined with candles and torches: Death is part of life – whether masks or not, pandemic or not. “The fact that residents of nurses with masks do not see a smile for two years is much worse for me than if you get corona,” one of the Trychlers told Blick TV. Then individuals would just die.

This statement in particular stunned Lothe: “It is so disrespectful to the bereaved, who have relied on their relatives to be looked after well and safely,” she says.
The police see it that way too. She got involved in the retirement home after the series of deaths. “On the basis of the reporting, a police investigation was initiated that goes to the bottom of the allegations,” said the public prosecutor.
Serious allegations to the home management
Because apparently the mask requirement in the home was ignored. Even worse: A former employee accuses the home management of forcing the employees to breach the protective measures: “The home management asked us in a serious tone to take off the masks in front of the patients,” said Björn K. * (50 ) to look. «The home management put pressure on. Many employees were afraid, ”he says.
In the end, some of them also resigned because the protection of the residents could not be guaranteed. K. also left the “dr Heimä” after only two months. “I resigned because the BAG regulations were not complied with. We could not protect ourselves and the residents of the retirement and nursing home. ” (sf)
