A motorcycle driver from the Voitsberg district was seriously injured this afternoon: The Styrian was about to overtake a car, but it turned left at the same time. The two-wheel handlebar fell in the collision.
Around 5 p.m., a 62-year-old from the Deutschlandsberg district drove his car on the B 76 from Deutschlandberg in the direction of Stainz. The 54-year-old rode a motorcycle behind his car. He started to overtake, at the same time the driver wanted to turn left, the two vehicles collided.
As a result, the 54-year-old fell on the street and was seriously injured. After successful resuscitation, he was brought to the LKH Graz in the Christophorus 12 rescue helicopter.
The 62-year-old car driver was uninjured. Significant property damage was caused to the vehicles. Due to the accident, the B 76 had to be completely closed for the duration of its use.
