Suffering and distant from social networks since the cancellation of part of her tour, Celine Dion came out of silence, this Tuesday, January 25, to share a tender snapshot of her son René-Charles, on her Instagram account.
While the Quebec star announced new cancellations in mid-January, it was this time to evoke a happy moment – the 21st birthday of her eldest son – that she took up the pen, posting a photograph of René Charles the day of his birth. A snapshot taken in 2001, on which the star embraces her newborn baby in the maternity ward, under the benevolent gaze of René Angelil.

Speaking then to her son, Celine Dion shared her happiness to be her mother, adding to her words those of her late husband and mentor René Angelil, who died in 2016.
“René-Charles, 21 years of dreams have already passed. We gave you life… Thank you so much for this wonderful gift you gave us to become your parents,” the 53-year-old star wrote. “Since that day, I thrive to see you grow,” she continued.
Praising the qualities of her son, who notably launched into rap, Celine Dion wanted to encourage him to pursue his dreams on this 21and birthday.
“Your intelligence, your generosity, your courage, and your great sensitivity never cease to move me. We guided you from our dreams by holding your hand. Keep exploring and above all, listen to your heart knowing that you are always carried by our love so that now your own dreams come true”. “Happy birthday René-Charles! Have fun my man… We love you! TVEC – Papa, Maman, Nelson et Eddy xx…”, concluded the artist, who must not fail to draw on the support and love of his family to fight the disease which makes him suffer, with severe muscle spasms and persistent that currently prevent him from performing on stage.
