CES 2022: MSI unveils new line of laptops for gamers and creatives

At CES 2022, IT giant MSI demonstrates its new range of Laptops for gamers
, designers and companies.

Like Acer, Asus and other firms specializing in tech, MSI took advantage of the electronics fair to renew its laptops, equipping them with the latest 12th generation Intel H processors.

MSI’s star products

The GS77 / 66 Stealth laptops are the big stars of MSI. These products are designed to be both lightweight and sophisticated, incorporating powerful performance suitable for gaming or professional use. Users will benefit from an Intel Core i9-12900H processor, a large touchpad and six speakers for greater ease of use.

The MSI Raider GE series is the most “flashy” of this new collection. Composed of laptops equipped with backlit keyboards, as well as an RGB lighting strip, this series creates an atmosphere with the air of science fiction. These devices are also heavier than previous models, but feature a liquid metal thermal design ensuring a smooth and fast playing experience.

Other new features introduced by MSI include the Creator Z17, the world’s first 17-inch touchscreen laptop. The Vector GP series is equipped with Cooler Boost 5 technology allowing computers to reach a power of 210 W via MSI Overboost.

Increased CPU performance

The firm announces CPU performance reaching up to 40% more with its new technological gems. The new Meta Ready-branded laptops feature a minimum Intel CoreTM i7 processor configuration, combined with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card, combined with a host of new features.

Behind the NVIDIA GeForce RTX series of computers lies the revolutionary Ampere architecture, featuring a 2nd generation RT core. The new range of gaming laptops, meanwhile, also benefits from significant performance improvements, integrating solutions specific to MSI such as its innovative cooling solution based on liquid metal. These advancements take full advantage of the power of the 12th generation Intel processor.

With its new range of laptops offering ever more powerful performance and incorporating new thermal solutions, MSI continues its innovations and resolutely turns to the darling of the moment: the metaverse. CES is the perfect opportunity to show off new laptop stuff, and the manufacturer doesn’t hide its desire to create the smartest PCs around.
