The chambers of commerce and industry (CCI) protested Thursday against the drop of 25 million euros in their resources in 2024, planned in the draft budget, and called on parliamentarians to the rescue.

The finance bill (PLF), presented on Wednesday, provides for a payment of 500 million euros to CCI France next year, compared to 525 this year, all part of a gradual decline trajectory until 2027, of around a hundred million euros, they fear.

This reduction in resources, which will also apply to the chambers of trades and crafts (CMA), aims to draw the consequences of the transfer of skills implemented during the previous five-year term and encourage the chambers to intensify their efficiency, notes Bercy in its budget documents.
