Charly and Lulu back: the duo will reform for the comeback of the Hit machine on W9!


Charly and Lulu are back on TV. The famous duo of animators will return to the antenna, on W9, to animate the Hit Machine as part of a great special evening, which will be broadcast on February 8th.

It’s been a while since we’ve seen them on TV. Charly and Lulu will soon make their comeback. From 1995 to 2009 on M6, the famous duo had marked the viewers aux orders from hit-machine. A program ranking the best sales of records where French and international artists of the time performed.

The opportunity to discover stars live but also to laugh at the antics of the two acolytes qwho even went so far as to form their own boy band, the Top Boys, with their tube The fire is burning. After their departure from the sixth channel, the presenters continued their careers in the audiovisual industry on their own, before notably reform their duo in 2011 to animate The 90s Tour. Years later, they met again for other small-scale projects.

A special show

On February 8 at 9:05 p.m., Charly and Lulu will finally return to the controls of the Hit Machine on W9. While the famous music show celebrates its 28th anniversary this year, M6’s little sister has concocted a special evening called Generation Hit Machine. For the occasion, the two animators will share their memories on stage and will welcome guests who marked the 90s and 2000s with their hits : Larusso, the L5s, Yannick, Willy Denzey, but also Pascal Obispo and Garou who, at the time, had a string of successes.

W9 also announces the participation of some boy bands like the Worlds Apart or Génération boys bands, a group formed by Frank Delay of 2BE3, Chris Keller of the G-Squad and Allan Théo. W9 also hints that Charly and Lulu could slip into the shoes of singers again and also resurrect their boy band. To be continued !
