Children's program: These live streams are useful for the little ones

In the current corona crisis, parents have to face the great challenge of keeping their children busy within their own four walls. Now there is a way to bring a popular pastime to your home: A list of zoos and aquariums from around the world offers live streams.

The providers include, for example, the Cincinnati Zoo, which starts a Facebook live video every day at 3:00 p.m. under the motto "Home Safari", each of which focuses on one animal from the zoo. There is also a task that the children can do at home. The zoos in San Diego, Melbourne or Munich have set up cameras in several enclosures, the pictures of which they show on their websites. Children can marvel at the elephants, koalas and pandas in the parks.

The Shedd Aquarium in Chicago and the Vienna House of the Sea also let users take a look behind the scenes with live recordings of their underwater animals. "Explore.org" offers a wide selection of live animal streams.
