It's beginning to look a lot like … Christmas! Well, who's got a catchy tune now? You are welcome! The time has come slowly but surely – we can get in the mood for Christmas with a clear conscience.
Now the festival this year has to be a little different due to the corona pandemic. And yes, we are sad that there will be no Christmas markets or celebrations. But that's no reason not to get into the Advent mood anyway. Rather, we use all of our saved energy to transform our home into a little Christmas wonderland!
In our opinion, Advent cannot begin early enough – after all, there is nothing bad about it. Fairy lights provide cosiness, candles make it warm and romantic and the scent of pastries has never harmed anyone. With that we already have the most important ingredients for an Advent apartment.
Christmas decorations 2020: modernity meets tradition
When it comes to decoration, this year it can be a mix of classic and modern. The traditional wooden figures and candle holders can still be set up if your heart is attached to them (after all, Christmas has a lot to do with tradition), but we still have some inspiration for new things ready.
At the same time, a motto runs through the Christmas decorations 2020: We bring nature home. If the motto is to stay within your own four walls if possible, we will decorate it with natural elements. Fir and fresh wood not only look beautiful, they also ensure a good indoor climate. We now know how important fragrances are for our well-being.
That's why there should of course not be a lack of candles this year either. Because no matter which decoration trends you choose for Christmas 2020, one thing should always be in the foreground: Comfort!
