Cie des Alpes: historic record turnover in the 1st quarter

(CercleFinance.com) – Cie des Alpes publishes a turnover of 166 ME for the 1st quarter of the 2021/22 financial year, ‘a historic record’ which marks an increase of 36.6% compared to the 1st quarter of the 2018/19 financial year.

Business was driven by the dynamism of leisure parks (+43.4%) and ski areas (+25.6%).

Cie des Alpes announces that on December 23 it partially reimbursed its PGE Saison up to €139 million and therefore indicates that it “retains the room for maneuver necessary to continue implementing its growth and attractiveness strategy. ‘

In terms of prospects in ski areas, the group specifies that the health restrictions associated with the evolution of the pandemic will be decisive for the rest of the season.

As for leisure parks, ‘the 2nd quarter structurally represents a period of low activity, where only Futuroscope (in February and March), Grévin Paris and Chaplin’s World are open’, concludes Cie des Alpes.
