CINEMA: Morbius, the film with Jared Leto again postponed for several months …

With the global health situation that continues to evolve, many film releases have been impacted over the past two years. Among those concerned, we find Morbius, the next project of Sony’s Spider-Man Universe featuring the enemies of Weaver without the latter. His promotion had resumed with a vengeance at the end of 2021 with the broadcast of a second trailer and even that ofa stage to make the public want to go to theaters from January 26th (28th in North America). Except that it will not be finally on this date that the vampiric being embodied by Jared Leto can be seen in action.

Variety reported in recent hours that Sony Pictures decided to change the schedule postponing the film’s release for three months, now set for April 1 across the Atlantic (probably from March 30 in France). Even if the source article quickly mentions omicron, but does not suggest that it would be the cause here, the other probable reason for this also cited postponement is that Sony Pictures just broke all box office records with Spider-Man: No Way Home, not to mention the success of Venom: Let There Be Carnage (sold € 29.99 in Blu-ray on Amazon). Spacing the launch of this new feature film so as not to overshadow it therefore makes sense.

In all cases, we will therefore have to take our troubles patiently before being able to discover Morbius.
