Civil patrol overtaken – Styrian races at a speed of 184 on Ennstalbundestrasse

Insanity! The Styrian police stopped a speeder on Friday night that had “hung up” on the B 320 at a proud 184 km / h. The Ennstaler has lost its “semblance”.

A civil patrol from the regional traffic department was traveling on the B 320 in the direction of Liezen on Friday night. In the municipality of Mitterberg-St. Martin, the two officers couldn’t believe their eyes (and ears). They were overtaken by an Audi A4 station wagon at extremely high speed. A maximum speed of 184 km / h was recorded during the “Nachfahrt” – and that on one of the most accident-prone roads in Styria. “Something like that doesn’t happen very often – the violation was enormous,” said group inspector Roman Walcher to the “Krone”. And yet the police managed to stop the man. “As soon as we switched on the blue light, the man stopped immediately.” During the inspection, the 26-year-old driver from the Liezen district said he didn’t even know why he was driving so fast. Now he will have more time to think about it – driving license removal and reporting.
