Cliff Bleszinski Says It All About Gears of War and Microsoft

Cliff Bleszinski has been a major name in the video game world for several years. Designer on Unreal Then Gears of Warhe tried other adventures with LawBreakers And Radical Heights, which were failures. Today, he has moved on, saying he won’t make any more video games and has branched out into writing and acting.

But now Cliff Bleszinski publishes a small press release on X/Twitterasserting thathe would like Microsoft consult him for a future game Gears. Neither the manufacturer nor the developer The Coalition haven’t contacted him, he obviously has it bad, but he still claims to have turned the page.

I’m up for consultation. (…) I understand that Gears will always be an integral part of my heritage. I appreciate and respect that.

That said. Microsoft and The Coalition have not contacted me. OK. It’s like that. If they were smart, they would ask my opinion because, from a PR perspective alone, it would be gold. But nothing. Well. It’s like that. So be it.

In recent years, I have moved on. Boss Key didn’t work, fine, shit happens. So I continued. Restaurants. Broadway. My memory. And now, comics (and stand-up comedy!).

While I appreciate your support and that of those who know me from my work on Gears (I’ve done a lot more than that game series, for the record), it’s time to move on.

I am on a new journey. I have been for some time now (…).

Cliff B. looks a little green than Microsoft separated him from his frankness Gears, asking to be a consultant, but he still claims to have moved on. The art of saying everything and its opposite in a few lines. Anyway, even if he left the world of video games, his legacy will live on, whether with a new Gears or other franchises inspired by it. You can find the saga in the PC/Xbox Game Passsubscription Ultimate is from €13.99 per month via Amazon, Cdiscount Or there Fnac.
