Confident language – avoid these words!

Do you have the feeling of being unsure about others – or has someone ever told you that you could be a little more confident? Then it's time to change something! Only what? The outfit? The gesture? Sure, that's a start. If you go to the job interview in your pants suit, you will certainly make a better impression than in a jogger. But you should also take a close look at your language – it is it that has a decisive influence on our impact on others.

What is important?

Rhetoric has a fairly large power – not only politicians know that. With carefully chosen words you can, for example, arouse sympathy or convince other people of your ideas. And: to look more confident!

How it works? It's not that difficult – you don't have to turn your entire vocabulary to the left to perform tougher. In principle there are two components: 1. Avoid uncertainty. 2. Communicate self-confidence. The two goals can be achieved with small language adjustments – as you can see in the video above.
