Rapper Coolio (1963-2022) died unexpectedly in September 2022 at the age of just 59. He previously collapsed in a friend’s bathroom and was then unsuccessfully resuscitated by rescue workers for 45 minutes. The assumption at the time: The musician may have died of a heart attack. Now a spokesman in a statement to the “TMZ” portal brought light into the darkness: Coolio died of a fentanyl overdose. His family only recently received the corresponding message from the coroner’s office.

In addition to the extremely dangerous opioid fentanyl, traces of crystal meth and heroin were also found in his body. In addition, his severe asthma and decades of cigarette consumption played a role in his death. That’s why his body was unable to defend itself, the report said.
