Coronavirus: this touching gift from Cyril Lignac for the Samu de Paris teams: Femme Actuelle Le MAG

Most of the French population is currently confined to prevent the spread of Covid-19. In this troubled period when the entire functioning of the country is slowed down or even stopped, other citizens are hard at work, on the ground, to save lives. This is the case of nurses, emergency doctors, doctors but also teams of the Samu. At 8 p.m. every evening, the French decided, like their Italian colleagues, tocheer on their window or balcony in support of medical teams who work courageously and take the risk of catching the coronavirus every day. For his part, chef Cyril Lignac showed his solidarity in a very personal way.

Tuesday, March 17, 2020, the sworn cook of the Best pastry chef posted a message of support and thanks to the Samu de Paris teams on Twitter. He took the opportunity to slip in an expression of his own: "Thank you to these women and men who work every day to preserve our health. A little "crunchy gourmet" to accompany you in this difficult time. #Love #thank you #support #together (…) ". Cyril Lignac went further to thank them by offering them pastries. In the photo shared on Twitter, a man and a young woman from the Samu de Paris are holding a bag of Gourmand Croquant pastry. A beautiful gesture welcomed by Internet users: "Bravo Cyril! Nice initiative", "Well done Chef !!! And to help these caregivers we stay at home !!!".
