Countess Eloise of the Netherlands adorns the cover of the latest edition of “Linda.meiden Winterboek” and in the accompanying interview reveals a very personal piece of news.
“I’m very in love and it works with him too. I’m so happy,” reveals Countess Eloise of the Netherlands surprisingly. Finally, she lets her fans share in her love happiness.
Countess Eloise talks about her boyfriend
Actually, she is not a “relationship type”, says Eloise, because she gets bored with someone too quickly. But her boyfriend simply blew her away: “I thought: Hello student life, time to shine. In the interview for the magazine “Linda”, the daughter of Prince Constantijn, 52, and Princess Laurentien, 55, speaks about the “Black Lives Matter” movement and reveals how her mother’s activist side has shaped her.

“After the death of George Floyd, I wanted to read all about it. It makes me angry that people can think so racist and statements like ‘Blue Lives Matter’ (A counter-movement to Black Lives Matter, in which the police are the focus, editor’s note.) “says Eloise. She also often speaks about politics with her parents.” I also explained a few things to my parents, for example why you can’t say: ‘Blue lives matter’. You listen to it 100 percent, we have a super open-minded family, “says the student.
The Dutch countess would also like more media coverage on the rights of the LGBTQ community, body positivity and feminism. Nevertheless, it is still difficult for them to share their opinion on social media. “That creates a lot of pressure because you have to be sure that you have good information,” says the 19-year-old.

In addition to her political commitment, Eloise is currently enjoying her new student life to the fullest. The royal can only smile at photos in which she can be seen smoking. “After all, I’m just a 19-year-old girl, a student. Should I go to a pub and get drunk? Yes, of course,” is her quick-witted answer.
