Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- Reunion, a remastered version announced for this winter!

Square-Enix arranged to meet us tonight for a short presentation Final Fantasy VII 25th Anniversary Celebrationstrongly teased on social networks to the point of specifying the date and time in the different time zones. There had to be something to be hype and the publisher clearly didn’t do this for nothing. One of the ads had leaked somewhat due to the leaker The Snitchwhich had broadcast a visual from the end of Final Fantasy VII Remake with Zack Fair in close-up and four colored squares for what everyone assumed were so many gaming platforms. Obviously, most players thought of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VIIPSP game released in 2007 within the project Compilation of Final Fantasy VII which served as a prequel. Never released elsewhere, it was therefore strongly requested in the form of a remastering, even a remake. So what about it?

Well yes, Square-Enix just announced Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- Reunion for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch and PC for a planned release this winter without further details. It will be a remastered version with improved 3D models, fully voiced dialogue and new musical arrangements. The trailer has enough to make fans nostalgic, obviously showing the various members of the SOLDIERwhose protagonist Zack Fair, Angel, Sephiroth and Genesisbut also Aerith.
