For once, the light is not on Cristiano Ronaldo. It is indeed the footballer’s companion who has the right to her Netflix documentary, where she makes lunar confidences.
Georgina Rodriguez and Cristiano Rolando don’t really have the life of ordinary mortals. This Thursday, January 27, Netflix puts online a documentary series devoted to the companion of the footballer, soberly titled Me, Georgina. “I went from selling luxury items to wearing them on the red carpet. I have millions of followers and I’m the wife of the most followed man in the world”, she swings in the trailer posted by the platform. In this documentary, Georgina Rodriguez returns in particular to the beginnings of her love affair with Cristiano Ronaldo and says that she had a little trouble getting used to the luxurious house in which the footballer lived, in Spain.
“Sometimes it took me half an hour to come back from the living room after going to get a glass of water from the kitchen because I didn’t know the way. It was so big. Since childhood, I was used to live in small apartments, she explains in particular. After six months, I learned where everything was.” Originally from a small Spanish town, Georgina Rodriguez has not always lived in luxury. Quite the contrary. “My name is Georgina Rodriguez, I’m 27. Five years ago my life changed. Cristiano is wonderful, he’s a normal man. Georgina Rodriguez: she is expecting twins!
“My arrival in Madrid was terrible. I visited a lot of cheap accommodation, at 300 euros, before staying in an apartment that looked like a storage room. But the day I met Cristiano, my life changed“, she continues. And by his side, CR7’s life was also turned upside down. In a few months, in fact, the footballer will become a father for the fifth and sixth time since Georgina Rodriguez is expecting twins, a girl and a boy. As for the young woman, she will give birth to her second and third children, after Alana Martina in 2017. “Delighted to announce that we are expecting twins. Our hearts are full of love – we look forward to meeting you”, had written the happy parents, in the caption of a tender selfie … and the first ultrasound of their future children.
