Cro sends his fans into the new year with happy news. In spring 2021, the rapper will release a double album.
Rapper Cro (30, "Easy") is in the starting blocks with his fourth album: his new record "trip" will be released on April 9, 2021 and has a double load of music in his luggage. The fans can look forward to a double album on which the musician undertakes a musical journey through a wide variety of genres.
The album, which Cro produced almost entirely on his own in Lockdown, will combine tracks from an almost two-year creative phase into a complete work. "The first side of the album is trippy, but also genuine and honest in the lyrics, the second side rather cheeky and light – because these two hearts beat in my chest," announces Cro. So he travels into the musical past to the sound of Woodstock and Psychedelic Rock and in the second part tries out the interplay between disco, funk and soul plus raps and beats.

In order to shorten the waiting time for the release, Cro played a showcase on a boat off the Indonesian island of Flores under the strictest Corona hygiene requirements, which will be recorded on December 10th on the YouTube channel "truworks". There Cro will play two new songs from the album with "Breathe" and "Last Song". The second part of the show with further insights will follow in January 2021.
