You have probably already seen it on Instagram or TikTok, Dalgona Coffee is the food trend of the moment. We give you the recipe for this ultra gourmet whipped coffee to reproduce very easily at home!
Café latte, cappucino, matcha, macchiato … If you like coffee in all its forms, you are bound to love the latest in fashion: Dalgona Coffee. In just a few weeks, this delicious smoothie from South Korea has become the food obsession of influencers. Ultra popular on TikTok and Instagram, dalgona coffee can be drunk cold or hot and takes its name from a type of Korean caramel whose taste is similar. We can easily recognize it with its aerial whipped foam which holds in place thanks to its thickness and smoothness. And the icing on the cake: once prepared, dalgona coffee could not be more instagrammable!
The recipe for dalgona coffee
You need :
- 2 tablespoons of instant coffee
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 2 tablespoons hot water
- 1 cup of milk of your choice (animal or vegetable)
The preparation :
- In a bowl, pour the coffee, sugar and hot water
- Whisk the mixture with a mixer (or a whisk in hand) until a smooth, airy and thick foam is obtained.
- Fill a glass or cup of ice cubes to halfway
- Then fill with milk up to 2/3
- Place the mousse on top and enjoy
