Father Ted marries the soccer star as best man

David Beckham’s father, Ted, tied the knot to his partner. The soccer star is said to have been present at the wedding as a best man.
David Beckham’s (46) father Ted is apparently under the hood. The 73-year-old is said to have married his partner Hilary Meredith (63), a multi-million dollar lawyer, on Friday (December 10th) in an intimate ceremony in London.
The former soccer star is supposed to according to the British newspaper “The Sun” have been there as best man. Accordingly, wife Victoria (47) and three of their four children – Romeo (19), Cruz (16) and Harper (10) – should have been present. Son Brooklyn (22) is said to have been missing.
Second marriage for Ted Beckham
It is the second marriage for both Ted Beckham and his new wife. Beckham divorced David Beckham’s mother, Sandra, in 2002 after 33 years of marriage. He met his new wife Hilary at an event for war veterans in 2019, and the engagement followed in March 2020.
David Beckham has a close relationship with his father. Just last week the former English Manchester United star shared several pictures on Instagramshowing him with his father and son Romeo at Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester.
