The DBT group receives the Sustainable Mobility award

awarded by the newspaper La Tribune

Lille, Wednesday 30 November 2022

– The DBT group (Euronext Growth – ALDBT), European expert in electric mobility,

received the “Sustainable Mobility” prize awarded by the jury of the newspaper La Tribune and presented by the SNCF to Alexandre Borgoltz, general manager of DBT and R3.

Organized by the newspaper La Tribune with the support of the regions, the national tour of “Transformons la France” highlights promising and innovative projects, local initiatives as well as the industrialists who bring the territories to life.

The prizes are awarded to model companies in their sector, which, through their commitment and performance, have distinguished themselves during the year.

It is for this reason that DBT received, in the presence of Mr. Xavier Bertrand, President of the Hauts-de-France region, the Sustainable Mobility prize.

A unique ecosystem for sustainable mobility

Solidly established in Hauts-de-France since 1992, the DBT group has developed a unique ecosystem of products, services and partners for sustainable mobility.

DBT offers, through its subsidiaries, electrical solutions to achieve the multiple energy and mobility transformations that the world needs.

A prize that rewards the 3 commitments of the DBT Group

  • For sustainable mobility,

Since 1992 DBT has been developing innovative charging solutions to accelerate the transition to electric. The installations of the DBT terminals and the R3 network position the Hauts-de-France region as the champion of fast charging in France.

  • For the social and sustainable industry,

DBT is committed to made in France by adapting the model of short circuits to industry. The group manufactures 100% of its production in the Hauts de France, buys more than 95% of the components in France and selects 50% of its suppliers within a radius of 50 km. DBT is also a partner of vocational high schools in the region which train young people for the jobs of tomorrow.

  • For a sustainable planet,

DBT has been a pioneer in the fight against obsolescence and for the lifespan of products by raising its design standards to display a record repairability rate of 70%. R3, the group’s Fast Charging Network provides 100% carbon-free and renewable energy every day through its dozens of charging points. The terminals installed by R3 over the next 3 years and co-financed by DBT, the Banque des Territoires and Amundi Transition Energétique will prevent the emission of more than 65,000 tonnes of CO2.

In this context, Alexandre Borgoltz, CEO of DBT, declares:

“We are proud to receive today this prize awarded by the newspaper La Tribune. This recognition reinforces our industrial and useful approach, which combines Made-in-France with quality and performance in the service of sustainable mobility. The France 2030 future investment plan aims to bring out the leadership of the regions in one or more strategic sectors. The Hauts-de-France Region has opted for green and carbon-free industry, thanks to the structuring of a sector dedicated to the electric car and its ecosystem. We are honored to be recognized today as an example to follow within a model region for a more virtuous industry. This award, to which I associate my employees and partners, gives us a boost of energy and strengthens us in our commitment to developing cleaner mobility. We are going to step up our efforts to propel Hauts-de-France and France as spearheads of sustainable mobility in Europe.
