Jacques was indeed there to respect a wish of his deceased father. The latter, a fan of the program presented by Sophie Davant, wanted his son to try his luck by bringing an object to sell. Jacques then went into the auction room. Very moved, he explained his adventure to buyers, visibly touched by his father's story.
