Dinkum sold 350,000 copies in one month – Dinkum


Dinkum was released in early access on July 14 on PC, and more specifically on the Steam platform. Mixing survival and simulation mechanics, Animal Crossing Where Stardew Valley, the game aims to build and prosper a community on a desert island. Moreover, the title, developed by James Bendon, has conquered the hearts of PC players. The latest figures revealed by the developer prove it well.

Recently, the journalists of toGameDiscoverCo were able to speak with James Bendon. He then revealed that 350,000 copies of Dinkum were sold in the space of a month. Fairly significant numbers that are likely to increase in the coming months and over the course of updates. According to James Bendon, the sandbox aspect of the title, its affordable survival mechanics and the size of the proposed map have contributed, among other things, to the success of Dinkum.


Moreover, remember that the developer has already shared a first roadmap, indicating the new features to come on Dinkum. In addition, console ports should arrive later, after the release of version 1.0. At the moment, we do not yet know when Dinkum will come out of its early access phase.
