For several years now, Disney has been revisiting its great animated classics one by one by producing live-action remakes (with live action). These films are always anticipated, sometimes successful, but they also provoke numerous reactions on the internet. The reason ? Casting choices that do not please part of the community, artistic decisions that diverge completely (we think in particular of Polochon and Sébastien of The little Mermaid, the poor), or script changes coming out of nowhere. A returning actor in the next Disney remake?
Indeed, a rumor has been circulating on the web lately concerning the live-action adaptation of Hercules, an absolutely cult cartoon for the big children that we are and which should soon have the right to its cinematic version.
According to Daniel RPK, a renowned insider in the field, two actors are being considered to participate in the feature film. The first is none other than Danny DeVito, who would reprise his role of Philoctetes here, as at the time of the cartoon when he was the voice. The actor had already expressed his desire to reprise this role when the project was announced. So it might end up coming to fruition.
An actor for the role of Hercules who does not please
The second rumor claims that a very prominent actor has been approached to play the role of Hercules. According to rumors, the legendary hero could be played by Michael B. Jordan (Creed, Black Panther). The actor has crazy class and has been shining in Hollywood for many years, which certainly explains why Disney is interested in him. Of course, even if the insider has already hit the mark several times, we must take this information with a pinch of salt, even if it had already circulated in 2021.
For the moment, nothing has been made official, or even publicly denied. Furthermore, for a while now we have been hearing about several names like Arianna Grande who could play the beautiful Meg here, or even Taron Egerton, notably seen in Kingsman. But again, we will wait for confirmation.

However, it would not be very surprising if this information could have leaked in order to provoke reactions among “fans”.
