At Kate’s most recent appointment, athletic skills were required. She mastered both climbing and mountain biking with flying colors.

Duchess Kate (39) once again demonstrated her sportiness on Tuesday. During a visit to the Windermere Adventure Training Center of the Royal Air Force in Cumbria in the north-west of England, the wife of Prince William (39) first went climbing before she jumped on a mountain bike. The aim of the campaign was once again to highlight the positive and beneficial aspects of nature and what influence it has on the health of children and adolescents. The beaming Kate clearly enjoyed the trip.

And the mother of three also knows how to adapt in terms of fashion. The 39-year-old appeared in a stylish outdoor look of a khaki quilted jacket, black tight jeans and dark brown lace-up boots by Chloé. She gathered her hair in a loose ponytail. Kate also protected herself with a suitable helmet when climbing and cycling.

After swapping her quilted jacket for an elegant checked blazer, the Duchess met numerous family members of the Windermere children, a group of Holocaust survivors. During a boat tour, she exchanged ideas with those affected about the extent to which the nature of Cumbria helped to cope with the Second World War. “It was so impressive to hear how their time at the lakes with outdoor recreation, sports and art therapy enabled them to rebuild their lives and ultimately their families here in the UK”, it says on the part of the Duchess on Instagram.
