Duchess Meghan
External company should investigate allegations of bullying against them
Buckingham Palace is reportedly hiring an outside company to investigate allegations of bullying against Duchess Meghan.
Buckingham Palace reportedly hired an outside law firm to investigate allegations of bullying by some palace employees against Duchess Meghan, 39. A third party should therefore take over the lead of the investigation, as the British "Daily Mail" reports. Earlier, the wife of Prince Harry (36) is said to have written to the palace and requested to see documents, emails or text messages relating to the bullying complaints against her.
A senior palace advisor had previously accused Duchess Meghan of "acting unacceptably" towards two personal assistants and undermining the trust of a third, leading to the investigation that is now to be turned over to a law firm.
Open conflicts for a year and a half
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have been fighting on different fronts for more privacy and against their violation by the British tabloids for a year and a half. Most recently, they caused a stir with their highly acclaimed interview with US talk queen Oprah Winfrey (67), in which they accused the British royal family of racism, among other things.
The couple has been living in the USA with their son Archie (1) for a year. Prior to the move, Harry and Meghan had resigned from their offices and duties as senior members of the royal family.
