Duchess Meghan: Your dogs suddenly appear during an interview

Duchess Meghan conducted an interview with activist Gloria Steinem. During their conversation, the two received surprising visitors.

Duchess Meghan (39) once again uses her fame to draw attention to women's rights and the importance of elections. To do this, she met the American feminist, journalist and women's rights activist Gloria Steinem (86) and talked to her about the two topics that are particularly close to her heart. The interview was created for the women's rights platform Makers Women, which now a first clip published.

The Duchess of Sussex, in a complete white outfit and in the meantime dressed with a hat, and the activist, dressed entirely in black, have made themselves comfortable in two wooden armchairs in a garden. "Welcome home", Steinem greets the wife of Prince Harry (35) who has returned to her native USA. "It feels good for so many reasons," Meghan countered. The women talk about the great importance of elections and Steinem expresses concern for the younger generation, who are less and less going to the ballot box. The black and white clip also shows which surprise visit was waiting for the two: Meghan's dogs, Labrador Pula and Beagle Guy joined their owner and lay down on the grass in front of her.

Does the clip show Meghan's garden?

The Duchess and her husband adopted Pula in 2018. Guy took Meghan in earlier and brought him to London in 2017. She had to leave her other dog Bogart behind when she moved. It is not known exactly where the interview with Steinem was recorded. But since Meghan had her dogs with her, it could be the garden of her newly acquired villa. The property in Santa Barbara is said to have cost around 12 million euros and be equipped with all amenities such as a pool, tennis court and guest house.
