Duhamel affair: how Camille Kouchner's companion tried to bring down the political scientist: Femme Actuelle The MAG

Since January 7, 2021, La Familia Grande is on everyone's lips… and on the front pages of all media. In her book, Camille Kouchner denounces the incest of which her stepfather Olivier Duhamel would have been guilty on his teenage brother. If these revelations shocked the whole of France, in particular because of the status of the famous political scientist, the facts would date back more than three decades. It was therefore not until thirty years before Camille Kouchner found the courage to break the silence established around this terrible family secret. Because over time, many members of Olivier Duhamel’s “familia grande” have been informed of the rapes … and have chosen to protect him. Among these fifty people, we included the mother of the Kouchner children, Evelyne Pisier. But since 2008, when the secret first broke, some – like Marie-France Pisier or Bernard Kouchner and his wife Christine Ockrent – have tried everything to bring down Olivier Duhamel.

Louis Dreyfus, member of the Siècle, the club chaired by Olivier Duhamel

And this is also the case with Louis Dreyfus. As revealed by our colleagues from Paris Match, in the Thursday, January 21 issue, Camille Kouchner's companion tried to bring about the downfall of the constitutionalist … from within. For just over a year, Olivier Duhamel has chaired a very private club: Le Siècle. It has nearly 700 members and brings together the country's most influential political, economic, cultural and media leaders. Among them are notably Jean Veil, renowned lawyer and son of Simone Veil. One day, Louis Dreyfus, also a member of the club, decides to visit him to denounce the acts of Olivier Duhamel.

Jean Veil listens to her, as he listened to Marie-France Pisier in 2008 when she informed him of the scandal ”, indicate our colleagues. But the lawyer will do nothing: "Duhamel, this incestuous stepfather at the head of the Century, unthinkable ”, abstract Paris Match. Finally, “to those who accuse him of not having said anything, he pleads professional secrecy for his fifty-year-old friend, who is also his client. ” In the wake of the revelations of Camille Kouchner's book, like several close to the political scientist, Jean Veil resigned from the Century.
