And one more ! Just over three months before its cinema release, Dune: part two was revealed on Tuesday through a brand new trailer. On the program: sublime images, romance in the dunes, open war and lots of sandworms.
The most anticipated film of 2024?
While the public expected it for November 1, 2023, Dune: part two saw its theatrical release pushed back to February 28, 2024, due to the strike then underway in Hollywood.
A report that director Denis Villeneuve (Prisoners, Blade Runner 2049) seems to have taken the opportunity to refine his new film. As shown in this stunning new trailer, which has our expectations skyrocketing.

In this batch of never-before-seen images, we can glimpse the romance between Paul Atréides (Timothée Chalamet) and Chani (Zendaya), a new glimpse of Feyd Rautha (Austin Butler), Shaddam IV (Christopher Walken) and Princess Irulan (Florence Pugh), while discovering a little more the mystical dimension of the film.

Above all, we can appreciate all the warlike dimension promised by the feature film, which will tell how Paul joins the Fremen to wage a vengeful war against the Harkonnen. In this regard, the trailer promises a good dose of action and a breathtaking spectacle.
It was recently announced that the film would have a (generous) running time of 2 hours 46 minutes, 11 minutes longer than the first opus. Enough to take in the sights.
This is (already) the third trailer for next year’s highly anticipated blockbuster. Let’s hope that this profusion of images will not spoil the discovery of the film in theaters, and the effect of surprise for spectators.
Dune: part two is scheduled to hit theaters on February 28, 2024.
