New to season 2 of Euphoria, Dominic Fike plays Elliot against Zendaya (Rue) and Hunter Schafer (Jules). Discover the journey of this unique artist.
After two years of waiting, Euphoria is back. Sam Levinson’s teen series (Assassination Nation, Malcolm & Marie) returns with a smashing season 2 broadcast weekly on HBO in the United States and on OCS in France. This new burst of episodes welcomes a new character, Elliot, played by Dominic Fike, who will shake up the already chaotic relationship between Rue (Zendaya) and Jules (Hunter Schafer).
The disruptive element
26-year-old Dominic Fike is best known for his musical career. Spotted on SoundCloud, he made himself known with his first EP Don’t Forget About Me, Demos in 2017, recorded while under house arrest for assaulting a police officer. He then signs with Columbia but is also imprisoned for violating his house arrest.
After this misadventure, he became more and more known with other rap and rock titles, which were a hit in the United Kingdom and Australia. Dominic Fike collaborates with many artists, like Halsey, the Brockhampton band and Justin Bieber and released his first album in 2020, which reached the top 50 in several countries, including Australia and the United States.

The same year, he also headlined a series of concerts in the video game Fortnite and became one of the new artists to follow. The singer joins the cast of Euphoria this year and joins season 2 in the skin of Elliot, his very first role as an actor.
According to Dominic Fike, this first experience was quite simple because he is close to his character. He thus explained to variety : “I haven’t really had to play him. He’s just like me. He says things I could say and does things I could do.”
The only difference is that Dominic Fike is now sober unlike his character Elliot, who is going to be a bad influence for Rue. Taking all kinds of drugs, he becomes a new close friend of the young woman, who relapsed when Jules left her. Elliot is one of the central characters in the plot of Rue and Jules in season 2 of Euphoria. Since the series, Dominic Fike has passed other castings, and it would not be surprising if we see the artist in other projects.
