Eva Longoria: That's why the corona pandemic is particularly bad for women

Eva Longoria spoke in an interview about the effects of the corona pandemic on women and their mental health.

"Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria (45) said in an interview with the British "Daily Mail" about the corona crisis and the particularly bad effects on women. "We are more affected by the pandemic because we have the main responsibility for the budget," explains the actress. "We make the decision about education or health care, we are the 'CEOs' of our home. Therefore, the mental health of women must be strengthened."

Eva Longoria, herself mother of a two-year-old son, tries to get through the crisis healthily through contact with her friends and meditation. In the pandemic, she could even maintain more contact with her friends than before because she is currently not working, Longoria says. The actress is committed to empowering women in various fields. She is currently the ambassador of the Spanish soccer league LaLiga and co-founder of the Angel City women's soccer team, with which she wants to draw attention to women in sport.
