“A microcosm of Hollywood”

Insecure creator and actress Issa Rae lately lambasted Hollywood with the example of Ezra Miller.
She told the magazine She : “What’s going on with Ezra Miller is, to me, a microcosm of Hollywood. There is this person who is a repeat offender, who behaves in an atrocious way, and instead of stopping him and stopping production, there is an effort to save the film and this person.

It’s a clear example of what Hollywood is willing to do to save itself and protect offenders. So don’t do that, and women can thrive. They won’t have to live in fear of shutting up because it will ruin their careers. It’s just a constant pattern of abuse that will only persist if Hollywood continues to insist on doing so..”
