About a month after releasing a first gameplay trailer on the new Miami layout and expected within a few weeks on PC and consoles, F1 22the racing game dedicated to Formula 1 and Formula 2 developed by Codemasters and published by Electronic Arts, shared a new video last night summarizing the various additions he will make to the license this year.
Some additional info for the Champions Edition
As already announced in April, this episode will notably include completely reworked gameplay in order to comply with the new regulations imposed by the FIA since the start of the season. The title will also host F1 Sprint races and “Immersive” and “Diffusion” options during formation laps, pit stops (with the possibility that the mechanics will make mistakes as is the case in Motorsport Manager) and when the safety car is on track.
Regarding the other planned additions, we note the arrival of the customizable F1 Life hub (supercars, clothing, luxury accessories, furniture, etc.), an update of the circuits in Spain, Australia and Abu Dhabi, programs training during free practice slightly redesigned, the presence of an adaptive AI for neophytes and various adjustments made mainly to the My Stable mode.
Please know that the developers also took the opportunity to share additional information about the content of the Champions Edition. Along with three-day early access, big bonus Pit Coins, and exclusive cosmetics, owners of this version will be able to drive the discipline’s two Safety Cars in Time Trial mode. as well as unlocking three new legendary drivers in My Stable mode: Jacques Villeneuve, Mark Webber and Nico Hulkenberg.
F1 22 will be released on July 1 on PC, via Steam, the Epic Games Store and Origin, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. As a reminder, the racing game will be compatible for the first time on Oculus and HTC Vive VR headsets.
