(Boursier.com) — Suspended yesterday, Faurecia climbed 3.5% to 40 euros for its resumption of trading. The automotive supplier has finalized the acquisition of its German competitor Hella, in which it holds around 79.5% of the capital. The total value (cash and shares) of this acquisition represents an investment of 5.3 billion euros. The combined sales of the new entity should amount to 33 billion euros in 2025. For Citi, the operation is a key step which allows the French company to begin to implement synergies. The “transformational” transaction should support profitable growth and improve Faurecia’s offering.
