Samsung will soon introduce the Galaxy S22. A new picture leak now shows that the South Koreans are planning almost no experiments with the color versions. One model is the exception here.

Samsung will introduce the Samsung Galaxy S22 shortly. But if you can’t stand it any longer, insiders are currently providing you with advance information. A new picture leak shows the cell phones from all sides and in all the planned colors.
As the SamMobile fan blog reports, the well-known industry insider Evan Blass has published render images that look very official on his Twitter channel. It shows the color versions for the expected S22, S22 Plus and S22 Ultra models. Following Samsung’s naming tradition, the colors are:
- S22 and S22 Plus: Phantom Black, Phantom Green, Phantom Pink, Phantom White
- S22 Ultra: Phantom Black, Phantom Green, Phantom Purple, Phantom White

The leaked photos are in all likelihood the color versions that are commonly traded. Special editions, such as the red version of the S21+ that is currently available exclusively in the Samsung online shop, are not included. That’s not to say Samsung doesn’t have plans for special editions, though.
“Bespoke Edition” for the S22 Ultra?
Samsung seems to be more willing to experiment with the S22 Ultra than with its predecessor. The S21 Ultra was generally only available in black and silver. With dark purple and dark green, the new top model looks almost motley.
According to unconfirmed rumours, Samsung could also be planning a “Bespoke Edition” for the S22 Ultra. This special version was first released for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3. Customers could use a configurator in the online shop to select the cell phone case Customize and order as you wish.
It is not yet known what further plans Samsung has for the design of its new flagship model. However, we only have to wait until February 9, because then the mobile phone will be presented at the next Unpacked event.
