Actor Gaspard Ulliel, who died on January 19 at the age of 37, has always been very discreet about his private life. Before starting a family with Gaëlle Pietri, he was very close to Caroline of Monaco’s daughter, Charlotte Casiraghi.
Tributes to Gaspard Ulliel, who died on January 19, 2022 after a skiing accident in Savoie, continue whether on social networks and in the press. The actor who shone in many roles and who had won two Césars for his performances leaves behind his wife Gaëlle Pietri – who taught him fidelity – and their six-year-old son, Orso. Before getting in with the model, Gaspard Ulliel has notably been in a relationship with actress Cécile Cassel, half-sister of Vincent Cassel. Their idyll however did not last very long and following their separation, they are rumors about Caroline of Monaco’s daughter which circulated. Even if a possible couple with Charlotte Casiraghi has never been officially confirmed, the Swiss newspaper The weather talked about it in 2012.
In an article from Time which traces the main stages in the life of Charlotte Casiraghi, our colleagues write well about the latter: “After being secretly in a relationship with actor Gaspard Ulliel“before asking about her subsequent love stories. What to sow doubt therefore, even if the information has never been formalized by one or the other personality. Anyway and once again, if Gaspard Ulliel was indeed in a relationship with Charlotte Casiraghi, this story did not last either since in 2013 he formalized, during the Marrakech Festival, his relationship with Gaëlle Pietri.
Gaspard Ulliel was a happy dad
The model of Corsican origin is as discreet as him, and it is without making a big noise that the couple gradually settled down to welcoming their first child in 2016, Orso, whose birthday they had recently celebrated on skis a few days before the fatal accident. During an interview shortly after his birth, Gaspard Ulliel confided to Madame Figaro that the arrival of her son was “a huge change. What was extremely important yesterday seems trivial today. Fatherhood brings you back to something very concrete, fills a void you didn’t necessarily know about, gives you a reason to live…” he had explained.
