Gaussin: will test a hydrogen tractor with TGO

(CercleFinance.com) – Gaussin announces a partnership with TGO, the Terminal du Grand Ouest (a concessionaire and sole operator of the Miscellaneous Freight and Container Terminal based in Montoir-de-Bretagne near Saint-Nazaire), in order to test the first heavy-duty hydrogen-powered port tractor for container transport.

The first full-scale tests are scheduled for spring 2022.

With a power of 230kW, this APM H2 75T tractor would be able to tow 75T of goods for a daily consumption of about 10 kilos of hydrogen. “This performance is a first on the national territory”, assures Gaussin.
