GC2022: High on Life, talking guns make the show in a gameplay video of Justin Roiland’s next game (Rick and Morty)

Squanch Games took a thorn off his shoulders by confirming last week that the release date of High on Life was postponed to December 13, 2022. He was thus able to show himself without pressure at the gamescom Opening Night Livewith a new trailer to better appreciate its universe and its gameplay.

Justin Roiland, creator and voice actor of rick and morty and supervisor on the project, lets his famous voice be heard as part of a first extract from gameplay wacky, showing a fight against a boss named 9-Torg. Talking weapons play a prominent role here, with a gun and a knife that keep swinging valves as the player tries to avoid or return his opponent’s blows.

High on Life is not yet announced in physical edition, but it will be released on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S in digital format, and directly in the Game Pass for those concerned: you can subscribe to the service Ultimate for €12.99 per month.
