Georges Caudron, the irreplaceable voice of Mulder in X-Files, has died

Georges Caudron, the fabulous French voice of Fox Mulder in the X-Files series, has died at the age of 70. He will also have left his mark in video games and the Marvel universe.

The world of French dubbing is still losing immense talent with the disappearance of Georges Caudron.

Georges Caudron, the voice of David Duchovny, is no longer

Another great voice of cinema and small has just died out, that of Georges Caudron who died at the age of 70. The career of the French actor has been rocked mainly by the cult series X-Files. It was the French voice double of David Duchovny, the legendary FBI agent Fox Mulder. A VF still memorable today. He has also lent his vocal cords to the American actor in other projects such as films or special episodes in the series South Park and The Simpsons.

We could also hear it in Honey, I shrunk the kids (the role of father Wayne Szalinski), in Batman: the animated series (Robin) or more recently, in the Marvel show Wanda Vision (Vision). For Assassin’s Creed fans who might remember the character, he’s also behind Shaun Hastings.

A disappearance which is added, unfortunately, to many others in recent years. In the most significant, there will have been Patrick Poivey (Bruce Willis, Kevin Costner…), Patrick Béthune (Kiefer Sutherland in 24…) or even Jacques Frantz (Robert de Niro, Mel Gibson, Nick Nolte… ).
