In the new RTL/ntv “trend barometer” only 30 percent of those questioned stated that they were satisfied with the work of the coalition so far. 64 percent are less or not at all satisfied with the work of the traffic light coalition SPD (74 percent) and the Greens (76 percent), while only 31 percent of the FDP supporters.
The German government’s handling of the Ukraine crisis is also viewed critically. 23 percent are satisfied with it, 67 percent are not. At the moment, only SPD supporters rate this almost positively with 52 percent, but 46 percent are less or not at all satisfied.
According to a Civey survey commissioned by “Spiegel”, support for Chancellor Olaf Scholz has fallen significantly. 63 percent say no to the question of whether the SPD politician has done his job well so far. Only 22 percent disagree.
It was different when he took office. In December, in a Civey survey for the news magazine, 49 percent still expected Scholz to be a good chancellor, while 32 percent did not believe it at the time.
On December 8, the Bundestag elected Scholz Chancellor. On the same day, he and his 16 ministers received their certificates of appointment from Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
