Goldeneye 007 (Nintendo 64): the legendary game could make a comeback on Xbox

Goldeneye 007, the legendary Nintendo 64 game, could have the right to a remaster on Xbox consoles. A list of successes which seems to be linked to the title has indeed leaked onto the net. This could be a nice surprise for the 60 years of the saga.

Goldeneye 007 is a game released for Nintendo 64 in 1997. Developed by Rare (now a Microsoft studio), it has left a mark on gamers with its inventive single-player campaign and eye-catching multiplayer. A real tour de force for the time, this title made it possible to introduce the FPS genre to many console players. He could do its big comeback on Xbox.

The Wario64 leaker released a list unlockable achievements that relate to the game. 55 in total for a Gamescore of 1000 points. We can see that these achievements take the name of the levels of the single player campaign, but we can also assume that they could relate to the multiplayer mode.

Goldeneye 007 is expected to arrive on Xbox soon

The list of successes leaves few doubts: Goldeneye 64 should arrive on the Xbox consoles. A good opportunity for old players to revive it and for others to discover this cornerstone of FPS on console. Note that this is not the first time that such a port has been talked about. Goldeneye was slated for release on Xbox Live Arcade in the late 2000s, but the project was scrapped due to rights issues.
