The Logitech Craft keyboard goes under 150 € at Fnac.com, a drop of about 32% on the price usually observed. It is currently one of our best value for money.
A pop-up wheel is above all this accessory that justifies the significant price of the Logitech Craft keyboard (€ 199); a wheel that gives quick access to productivity and creativity functions, but only with certain very specific software. With other software, the possibilities are ultimately quite limited.
Logitech Craft
The Logitech Craft holds the road perfectly as a flat, plush, stylish and quiet office keyboard. It does not steal its 5 stars compared to the other keyboards in our comparison. On the other hand, its wheel struggles to justify its additional cost compared to the Logitech MX Keys and will especially interest intensive users of Adobe and Microsoft software.
Strong points
- Stability.
- Manufacturing quality.
- Quiet, backlit and pleasant keys.
- Rechargeable in USB-C.
- SDK now available for third party developers.
Weak points
- Older versions of Adobe software (pre-CC) are not supported.
- Some keys loaded with serigraphs.
- Finally, quite limited possibilities of the wheel.
- Very low interest with the Office suite and with Chrome.
As an alternative
Logitech MX Keys Mini
Apart from its size, the MX Keys Mini is overall very similar to the MX Keys. It simply rejuvenates the formula with a few nifty shortcuts. This wireless model is therefore still part of the cream of office keyboards and suffers only a few shortcomings. If the compact size and no keypad is your thing, go for it, the MX Keys Mini is a great desktop companion.
