The Life Q30 is a nice little surprise. Obviously, you shouldn’t expect a lot of experience or a stunning design quality from it, nevertheless, it humbly fulfills its mission in all areas and sometimes even offers more than its direct competitors. Here is a good starting point at a reasonable price in the jungle of Bluetooth headsets with active noise cancellation.
Strong points
- Very good performance Active Noise Reduction (RBA).
- Homogeneous and pleasant sound reproduction (with RBA, and manual equalization).
- Beautiful stereophonic width.
- Good feelings of comfort, fully foldable design.
- Extremely generous autonomy (40 hours with RBA!).
Weak points
- Very average sound precision.
- Significantly lower sound performance when RBA is off (or headphones are off).
- Fairly average level of finish.

Plantronics BackBeat Go 810
The Backbeat Go 810 is a good choice if you are looking for a wireless listening companion with active noise reduction below the 150 € mark… especially if you are going to use it primarily that way. Indeed, the sound rendering is only really interesting in this use. Apart from that, it remains a complete and pleasant model to use. If you are unsure, take a look at the HD 4.50 BTNC, which is just as interesting, or simply the Backbeat Pro 2 since it is now close in terms of price.
